Need a hand?

Email contact@tinyfingers.net with your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, TinyFingers version and a description of the problem. For purchase issues, you may include the relevant Apple order reference, with unrelated receipt details hidden. Never send your password, payment card details or personal information about your child.

There is no sound

Press and hold Parents for about two seconds, then turn on Sound. Check the device volume and audio output: sound may be going to Bluetooth headphones or a speaker. Return to a game and perform an action that makes a sound—for example, tap a xylophone key. The Sound setting applies across games and is remembered.

How do I change the game, language or appearance?

Press and hold End for about two seconds to finish a session, then return to the collection from the end screen. Parent settings let you change sound, language and the day or night appearance. Automatic language selection follows your device’s preferred languages, choosing the first language the app supports and falling back to English if none is supported. The age guidance on each game helps you choose an activity.

How can I reduce accidental exits?

Before handing over the device, open Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access. Enable it and set a passcode an adult knows. Return to TinyFingers and triple-click the side button on iPhone, the top button on iPad, or the Home button on a device that has one. Choose Guided Access if a shortcut menu appears, check the session settings and start the session. Keep touch enabled so the games respond.

To end a session, use the device button shortcut and authenticate, then choose End. Apple’s current instructions use a triple-click on recent systems and a double-click on iOS or iPadOS 18 and earlier. Check the instructions for your version and practise ending a session yourself before letting a child play. Guided Access is a device setting; TinyFingers does not enable it automatically or guarantee a complete lock. An adult should stay nearby.

I subscribed, but the games are still locked

Check that the Apple Account used for Media & Purchases is the one you subscribed with and that TinyFingers appears in its subscriptions. Connect to the internet, then choose Restore purchases in TinyFingers. Apple may ask you to sign in. Restoring checks an existing purchase; it does not start another subscription. A pending purchase or an Ask to Buy request must be approved before access is granted. If access is still blocked, contact us before purchasing again.

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Open subscription management from the parent area, or go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TinyFingers. Check the next billing date and the options Apple offers. Deleting TinyFingers does not cancel the subscription. After cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the paid period, unless a refund or another entitlement change applies.

Why is the price in my local currency?

The App Store supplies the price for your storefront. The amount and billing period shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation apply. Local prices can differ from the reference prices in US dollars. The annual plan is charged as one payment for the year.

How do I request a refund?

Use Apple’s refund process and select the purchase concerned. Eligibility depends on your purchase and applicable rules. Cancelling renewal does not itself request a refund. If you need help finding the purchase, contact us without sending your Apple password or full payment details.

Do I need an internet connection?

The games are included in the app. An internet connection is needed to purchase, restore or refresh your subscription with Apple. No TinyFingers account is required.

Offline access is limited to 30 days after a sufficiently recent verification and never extends beyond the paid subscription period confirmed by Apple. Merely opening the app or loading prices does not restart that period. If your monthly subscription is paid through 20 November, a check on 15 November cannot grant offline access beyond 20 November. An annual subscription still needs a fresh verification at least every 30 days.

When a new verification is needed, reconnect and use Restore purchases from the parent area. Apple may ask you to authenticate. A game already in progress is not interrupted; access is checked before another game starts. Refunds or revoked access can only be recognised once updated information reaches the device. An offline device remains limited by its previously verified expiry date.

Reinstalling, removing local access information or an inconsistent change to the device clock may require a new online restore. An unpaid renewal does not extend the paid offline period. If access cannot be restored, contact us before subscribing again.

What happens to settings and creations?

Settings and creations saved by the games stay locally in the app. TinyFingers does not sync them through an account or a game server. Device backups and restores depend on your Apple settings; they are not a TinyFingers cloud-sync feature. Deleting the app can remove this local information.

An adult can choose to export a creation through the Apple share sheet. Only the chosen file is passed to the selected destination. Files you save or share elsewhere follow that destination’s settings and privacy policy. Neither deleting the app nor deleting a creation cancels an Apple subscription.
