How to play

  1. Look at the objects waiting above the train. They share the same shape and color, but some are taller.
  2. Tap the shortest object still waiting. It moves into the next wagon, marked by an arrow. You can also drag it there.
  3. Keep going from short to tall. Your objects stay on the train. Watch your full train set off, then fill a second train with a different family of objects.

Playing with a keyboard? Press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to choose an object, following the numbers below the waiting objects. Or use the arrow keys to select one, then press Enter or Space. The numbers mark positions, not the correct order.

A row that grows

Parcels, flowers, lanterns, trees and bottles make five little families. Within each family, only height changes: the color, width and direction stay the same. The objects stand on the same line, making their tops easier to compare.

A taller choice stays available for later. Small marks beside the real objects help you compare their tops, without losing a turn or clearing the train. The comparison stays until your next move. Tap the waiting wagon for a gentle hint. Your child still makes every move.

Make it right for your child

Your first game starts with three objects. Choose two in the parent panel for a simpler comparison and faint pictures in the wagons, or choose four for one more step. Each game contains two trains. For a different way to compare, choose “Tall to short” in Parents and begin with the tallest object instead. Changing the level or order starts a new game, and your choices are remembered.

Try pointing to the tops together: “This one stops here. That one reaches higher.” Let your child compare and try again. Taller does not mean heavier or older; this game simply explores height.

During play, click or touch and hold “Parents” for two seconds, or type parent. You can change the level, sound, background and motion, or switch off the gentle hint that appears after a pause.

Ages are a guide. An adult can show the first move, then leave room for exploration. The whole game works with sound off, with no time limit and no scores for mistakes.
