Shadow Match
A fish, a flutter, a familiar outline. Find each picture’s shadow and bring its colors back.
Play nowHow to play
- Look at the colorful picture above the shadows.
- Tap or click the shadow with the same outline. Or slide the picture onto it: it is already the right way up.
- Each match brings back the picture’s colors. Touch a picture you found to say hello. Find them all, then explore a second little world.
Playing with a keyboard? Press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to choose a shadow, following the numbers below the pictures. Or use the arrow keys, then Enter or Space.
What could that shadow be?
A turtle’s shell, a butterfly’s wings, a balloon in the sky. Look at the whole outline together. The picture and its shadow always face the same way and have exactly the same outline; color is not the clue.
A different shadow leaves the picture ready to try again, without a buzzer, lost turn or countdown. Tap the colorful picture to look around its outline. Tap it again to compare its contour with the matching shadow. Your child still makes the match.
Make it right for your child
Your first game offers three shadows. Choose two for a simpler choice, or four for more pictures to look between. Each game visits two little worlds, with new pictures and positions between games. Pictures already matched stay colorful and respond when touched; the first collection remains in a little strip while you discover the next one.
Discover sixteen pictures across the sea, garden, sky and woods. In Parents, choose a favorite world to visit first, or keep Surprise me. A different world follows. Changing this choice starts a new game; it never moves the shadows while your child is playing.
There is no need to name a picture before matching it. You can point out a big wing or trace a curving shell with a finger, then leave time to look. Everything can be played with the sound off.
During play, click or touch and hold “Parents” for two seconds, or type parent. You can change the level, sound, background and motion, or switch off the gentle idle hint. Changing the level starts a new game; your choice is remembered.
Ages are a guide. Play together, take turns or repeat a favorite level. The game has no timer, and you can take a break whenever you like.
