How to play

  1. Look at the number beside Fox. On the first level, the plate shows places to fill.
  2. Tap the plate to add an apple. Tap an apple to take it away.
  3. When you think the plate is ready, tap Fox to serve the picnic.

Playing with a keyboard? Use + to add an apple and − or Backspace to remove one. Select Fox with Tab, then press Enter to serve. In Safari on a Mac, use Option+Tab to reach the buttons.

Count one apple at a time

The game connects a number with a small group of objects. Count aloud together as each apple reaches the plate. There is time to add or take away an apple before serving, and the game gives a visual hint if the amount needs another look.

Make it right for your child

The first level asks for up to three apples, with spaces to fill and dots to count. The second asks for up to five and keeps the dots. The third asks for up to eight, with the number as the clue. Choose a level in the parent panel; changing it restarts the game.

Three apples for Fox

When Fox shows 3, count “one, two, three” as your child adds the apples. If there are four on the plate, tap one to take it away and count again. Then let your child tap Fox to share the meal.

During play, click or touch and hold “Parents” for two seconds, or type parent. You can also change the sound, background and motion.
